Freelance Content Creator, London, Part-time
Fast Train Media is looking for a freelance content creator to work on our London Cheapo social media accounts, predominantly Instagram. The position mainly requires the filming, production, and editing of two to three short-form videos a week, totalling 10 short-form videos a month. The position is initially for three months, with the possibility of extension and expansion. Pay: approximately £1,600 per month. Deadline for applications: is July 15, 2024. Location: Applications will only be accepted from candidates based in London.
Responsibilities:
- Produce, edit, and post 10 short-form videos (reels) a month
- Film in and around London for 1 to 3 hours per video (some content can utilise stock footage)
- Appear in at least 3 reels a month
- Produce and post 1 carousel post a week based on an article on the London Cheapo website (template provided)
- Work closely with the social media team to make content recommendations
- Occasionally, upload an Instagram Story
Requirements
- Self-motivated, organised, and creative
- 1+ years’ experience producing short-form video content for a social media account
- Strong video/reel editing and filming skills
- Keen eye for social media trends
- Knowledge of London
Advantageous:
- Experience with appearing in videos
- Knowledge of social media marketing and copywriting
- Experience with task management tools & team communication platforms like Asana and Slack
- Experience with producing comical short-form videos
