Terms & Fees

The following are the terms and fees for our advertising services:

Refunds and cancellation fee policy

Once a campaign has been ordered, cancellations and refunds must be requested in writing.

Cancellation of Sponsored/Branded Content

Sponsored/Branded content campaigns can be cancelled free of charge provided Fast Train has incurred not costs, performed any research activities, other preparation or writing has commenced.

If any of the aforemention activities have already been undertaken, the following cancellation fees will apply (as a percentage of the total campaign fee):

  • Once Fast Train has commenced any preparation/research/activity: 25%
  • Once Fast Train has commenced the article draft: 50%
  • 7 days before start date: 75%
  • 1 day or less before start date: 100%

Penalties for cancellation of other ad campaigns

The following cancellation fees apply based on the date of the cancellation request
before ad campaign publication start date (as a percentage of the total campaign fee)

  • 30 or more days before start date: 0%
  • 14 or more days before start date: 10%
  • 7 or more days before start date: 25%
  • 2 or more days before start date: 50%
  • less than 2 days before start date: 100%

Delivery and lead times

Delivery of advertising services vary depending on the specific ad service/product.

Once we have recieved all approvals and materials we require for delivery of the ad service, the follow times apply:

  • For event listings: 3-5 work days processing time before publication.
  • For native ad listings: 3-5 work days processing time before publication.
  • For other ad services: Publication schedule varies and will be discussed with the client whilst arranging the campaign

    • Accepted payment methods

    We accept payment with most major credit cards or via local bank transfer (in Japan).

    Payment period

    Credit card payments are processed immediately, while local bank transfers must be sent by the due date on the customer invoice.
