About Fast Train Media

Starting in 2012 with our first website, Tokyo Cheapo, our practical and friendly editorial style won over the hearts of travellers and local residents alike to earn us the title of most popular English-language website about Tokyo. Since then, we’ve launched three more websites – London Cheapo, Japan Cheapo, and Hong Kong Cheapo.

As of 2024, monthly network traffic totals a combined 2-3 million page views on our websites, and another 2-3 million people reached via our social media channels.

Our team is based in a number of cities across the world. We’ve been a remote-first company from day one, as we believe our team should be able to work wherever and whenever they get their best work done.
